The email and comment I receive most often is not surprisingly how can I make consistent profits on Betfair? I could of course answer by study and testing, by form analysis and really getting to know your chosen sport … but I know that’s not the answer people want!
The quick answer I would give is from Betfair’s in play betting markets. Specifically from the football (or soccer to our overseas friend!) betting. Over recent years I’ve tested hundreds of betting systems and I now believe that in play betting is one of the key areas we can really gain an edge for profits. In play betting gives us the ability to ‘change sides’ in a way and if things do go our way we can lock in a profit and be out of the game long before the final whistle!

I actually place two bets before the match if it fits my criteria and these give me options to trade out for profit in a variey of scenarios. Although the approach is selective there are many betting opportunties every day and I bet in English, French, German, Spanish and other major leagues. Dutch betting or Dutching has long been an interest of mine. My Uncle who got me interested in horse racing and betting in the first place used to curse the local bookies for turning down his dutch bets! The potential of dutch betting on Betfair and other online bookies opens up the whole world of multiple selection betting.
So what is Dutch betting? Very simply it’s betting on more than one outcome. In horse racing this may mean backing horses A, B and C all as potential winners. Overall of course you need to ensure a profit since inevitably if one of your 3 selections wins the other 2 will lose!

The basic strategy of Dutch Bet Master is something you will learn in minutes and you will instantly see the logic and potential of the system. I also detail an advanced dutch betting system which can significantly increase your profits – a little more time and research is required but my testers all found this to be wortwhile.
The system uses level stakes which I know many people will find refreshing! I personally now use a staking system to ratchet profits but profits can be made from good old level stakes and this is what I recommend for newcomers. Some months ago Jason was said to be releasing another betting system and I’d be the first in the queue if he had! I’m sure something will be on the horizon and I’m sure any delays are down to further testing and analysis to ensure the system is a winner.
Personally I am developing other betting systems and ways to make money on Betfair all the time. Now that the football season is well underway I’m testing several football betting systems based on average goals per game and other stats. Other than the odd few quid on a Saturday night I’ve never been a big fan of playing the Lottery but I’ve had some interesting emails about this lately and am going to look at some Lottery systems to see if there are profits to be had.

The feedback I’ve had on these two systems is incredible and although I enjoy the profits I make using them myself I get a real kick out of knowing other people are making money on Betfair with them. An email I recieved this week was a typical example -

When I started my first Betfair Blog my goal was to make £200 a week on Betfair and I used a number of systems which I now sell as ‘The Betfair Vault’ on Ebay (email me at jon.mainwaring@googlemail.com if you can’t find them). I seem to have made incredible progress at making money from betting systems since then. Sadly 90% are still utter rubbish created by ‘marketers’ out to make a fast buck! My own development of Betfair Greyhound Lay Pro and Massey Master Lays really has proved though that’s possible to make good money on Betfair.
As always, I am testing and developing new ideas and hope to release other Betfair systems soon. I have a very nice strategy for laying greyhound favourites on Betfair and can see this evolving into ‘Greyound Lay Pro 2′ when I’ve finalised the selection method.

I had an email from someone who had recently bought my Massey Master Lays system today and the results they’ve achieved have been excellent in their own independent test. The test period was May 1st to June 12 and over this time Massey Master Lays achieved an 84% strike rate delivering a profit of £194.15 to £10 stakes. I have to say I’m very impressed with this! I can understand and would advise anyone new to a Betfair strategy to start small but just imagine if these bets were to £20 stakes (£388.30 profit) or even £100 stakes (£1,941!)

I’ve been an avid fan of this for many years and tested and tweaked many Betfair laying strategies from it – Massey Master Lays is the most profitable to date and I’m pleased to see others are also making healthy profits! Now for a change I’ve been looking at and testing a backing system recently and of the hundreds (!) I’ve seen this is certainly one of the best. Racing Revelation involves a really interesting method of finding selections and one I’ve not seen before. Based on the detailed results I’ve seen so far the method certainly delivers a profit.
Racing Revelation does involve backing some quite high odds runners so it’s a system for long term profits. To be honest though most systems are! Anyone who offers you overnight riches is either misleading you or deluded – whether backing or laying you need to see returns from the medium to long term. The author of Racing Revelations also offers a tipping service if you don’t have time to find selections yourself and I’d recommend this if you are short of time. To read more click below -

It’s been a while since I’ve been interested in a backing system but I’ve come across the Racing Revelation system this week. The developer, Nick, has offered me the chance to review Racing Revelation so watch this space for my early thoughts.

To level stakes a very nice profit has been acheived in this test but if you combined it with a good staking plan it would have been incredible! Note the winning run of 34 consecutive bets and the losing run of only 2. Liability is strictly controlled in Greyhound Lay Pro so even these 2 losers didn’t harm us. The More Money Review site lists every songle bet and the odds achieved. Laying greyhounds on Betfair for a profit isn’t as easy as many people believe and I’m truly proud to have developed this winning system. There’s also another system I’ve been testing for laying ‘false favourites’ in greyhound races and I should be publishing this soon.
